Construction

The diversity of skills offered by a qualified PhD teaching staff and the quality of students itself, associated with the quality and variety of experimental equipment installed in laboratories, allow the construction faculty to deliver a high quality education. One of the characteristics of the engineering curriculum corresponds to the existence of a fairly large common trunk, which seeks to provide comprehensive training to all future masters in the construction sphere.

The Faculty offers the following courses:

The main trends of scientific research work

  • Development of calculation methods of durability and stability of a jointless track, stability of an earthen cloth.
  • Development of technical instructions on a jointless track, the maintenance of a jointless track.
  • Development of resources-saving technologies of stacking and repair of a jointless way with super long lashes, energy- and resources-saving technologies in transport construction.
  • Construction of railways in complex engineering - geological conditions.
  • Durability and protection of building structures against corrosion.

Our graduates easily integrate the professional market, since employers seek the skills that these professionals have systematically demonstrated over the years. A wide range of opportunities is common, including the following:
- Project Offices;
- Companies linked to the construction sector;
- Infrastructure companies (water, drainage, electricity, gas, road networks);
- Central, regional and local authorities;
- Operations maintenance and management activities;
- Project evaluation and consultancy in service companies
- Technological research and development laboratories;
- Technical and commercial activities.
